Venue- Buxton Community School
Time- 10.00am-4.00pm, with a short performance at 3.30pm. Can participants please arrive between 10am and 10.15am to sign in.
What to expect - A full day workshop, led by our experienced music directors, working on music from films including Jurassic Park, How to Train Your Dragon and more. The day will finish with a short performance. There will also be tea/coffee and cake!
Who can join in? This event is for adults and children, playing at grade 4 standard or above. It's a great chance for parents to play alongside their children, but we'd also love other local musicians to join us.
Cost- Free for children. Adults- minimum donation £5
How to join in- To make sure that we have space and music for everyone, anyone wishing to join in must register in advance (see below).
Not a musician but would like to get involved? We will need donations of cakes and a team to help make and serve refreshments through the day. Please contact us if you'd like to help.

What instrument can I play? There will be parts for the following instruments:

Participants will need to bring their own instruments. If we are in the enviable position of having some instruments over-subscribed we will allocate places on a first come first served basis. If you have several instruments that you could play, please indicate this on the registration form.
What happens next? When we receive your form, we will be in touch by e-mail to confirm that you have a place and to let you know how to pay for your place (if applicable). Participants don't need to practise the music before the day, but of for any reason you would like to see your part in advance please contact admin@pdmc.org.uk and we will try to arrange this for you.

What to bring? Please bring your instrument and a packed lunch. Tea, coffee and biscuits/cake will be available to purchase (all proceeds to PDMC funds)
Children taking part- Members of PDMC ensembles taking part in this event will be supervised by our team. If children who are not yet PDMC members wish to take part, we may require a parent to stay with them depending on age etc
Who can watch the performance? Please feel free to invite friends and family to come along at 3.30pm to watch the final performance
